I don`t even remember where this was...sometime back in 2016 probably. We made these beautiful shoji screens...from linen of course... to diffuse the view beyond and adding the steel eyelets gives the eyes a place to focus, tricking them into staying in the room...and what a great backdrop to the @bocci lights...

Today`s install was 3 automated shades and 3 sets of amazing sheer walls. We had the immense pleasure of working in this home when it was built, designed by @studio.balcaen.kwan and built by @powersconstruction back during the pandemic. Well we were back today making the house even homier. Our work is so good it really is. We take complicated situations and turn them into places of beauty and simplicity. Pay special attention to how the splines line up... its literally flawless.

What a weeeeek....holy moly. I must have hung 1000 yards of linen this week.
So let`s start with these beauties.
Using our newest somfy powered automated blinds system we made an amazing series of four blinds in our newest color of linen sheer...peppercorn. look at how beautiful that is for goodness sake.
We also rewired and re-motored the existing blackout blinds to make them smoother and quieter.
The benefit of the somfy system is the versatility and the ease of use and the lower cost than some of the other systems, not to mention the reliability. You can even control these through Alexa or your smart phone....which is making you dumber...get it? Smart phone making you dumber....? 🤣🤣🤣

Shady goodness. While so many of you were baking sourdough and watching conspiracy videos I spent covid playing engineer. I`ve finally designed an automated shade system that I actually like.... using @somfyus components I have built an awesome reliable and very affordable shading system that can be operated remotely and almost silently.... expect to see lots more of these as I push this system to its limits.
